Down at Building No- 58 in the MIDC area of Satpur, things stay pretty busy from early morning until late evening. We are the Schneider Electric site here in this part of Nashik. Since we are in an industrial zone, there is always some kind of noise or movement happening around us. Most of the people working in this facility are locals who live nearby. We spend our shifts dealing with electrical parts and various systems. It is not really a glamorous job, just a lot of technical work and making sure every component is put together correctly on the line. The building itself has been around for a long time and has that typical industrial feel, nothing too fancy or modern on the outside. Sometimes the air conditioning in the back offices doesn't work as well as we'd like during the hot months, but we just deal with it. We aren't here to give anyone a big sales pitch or act like we are better than any other factory on the block. We just focus on the engineering and the assembly tasks. When the shifts change, the whole area gets a bit chaotic with everyone coming and going. You will see trucks pulling in and out of the MIDC gates all day long. It's a mix of hard manual labor and some high-tech testing. We usually eat our lunch in the common room and talk about local news or family stuff. We’re just regular people doing a technical job.
