Atharva Graphics

Atharva Graphics is situated at 45 Gangamai Industrial Complex within the MIDC in Satpur. Satpur is one of those places where there is always something being built or moved. Our complex is a busy one, and being at number 45 means we are right in the thick of things. The main thing you notice when you walk in is the smell of ink and the constant humming of the printing machines. We have stacks of paper and boxes of finished graphics work all over the place. It is a bit of a squeeze sometimes, especially when a big order comes in and we have to find space to layout all the sheets. The MIDC area is full of workshops and small factories, so there is a real sense of being in a hub of activity. We usually have lunch at the small canteen nearby with some of the guys from the neighboring units. It is a chance to talk about the machines or the local news. Our work is all about the details on the screen and the paper, so we spend a lot of time squinting at prints. It is not a fancy office with leather chairs; it is a working graphics shop with ink stains on the floor and a lot of humming equipment. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the work that comes in.
