Sandip General Stores

Sandip General Stores is located on Colony Road in the Indira Nagar part of Nashik. We are right across from the ICICI Bank. It’s a decent spot because people going to the bank often remember they need something from us on their way back home. We keep all the basic groceries and household supplies that a family might need. The 422009 area is a residential neighborhood, so we see the same people nearly every day. We’ve got a routine of checking the milk crates in the morning and making sure the bread is fresh. The shop isn’t very big, so we have to use every bit of wall space for shelving. It gets a bit cluttered sometimes with boxes of detergent and stacks of snack packets waiting to be put away. We try to keep it clean, but with the door open to the road, some dust always finds its way in by the end of the day. We aren't looking to become some massive store; we just want to make sure the people living around Indira Nagar can get their tea and sugar without any fuss. Sometimes we have to tell the neighborhood kids to be careful with the glass jars near the edge of the counter. It’s just the usual daily life for us here in Nashik. We keep the books by hand and know our customers by name. It’s a simple business, and we just keep it moving one day at a time.
