Our place is in the Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Shopping Center, which is out in Pimpalgaon Baswant. If you know the Old Agra Road, we are right near Niphad Kata. It’s a busy hub for the agricultural trade around here. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out checking on the produce that’s coming in from the local farms. Exporting is a lot of paperwork and making sure the trucks are on time, which isn't always easy with the traffic on the main road. The office is small and usually has crates or samples sitting around the corners. We deal with a lot of different markets, trying to get the local stuff out to other places. It’s dusty work sometimes, especially when the wind kicks up off the road. Everyone here knows each other because it's a tight community of traders. We don't have fancy furniture or a big lobby; it’s just a place where we get the deals done and coordinate the shipping. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait it out, but that’s just life in this part of the country. We keep an eye on the seasons and what's growing well. It’s a straightforward business, really. We just try to move the goods from the fields to the containers without too many headaches. There are always people coming in with questions about logistics, so we stay pretty occupied most days.
