Sai Ratna Super Market

Sai Ratna Super Market is located right by the Mumbai Agara Highway in the Panchavati area of Nashik. Being so close to the highway means there is always a lot of dust and the constant sound of heavy trucks passing by at all hours. We are situated in the Sai Ratna Society, and the Datta Mandir is just a short walk away, which is a good landmark for people to find us. Inside, it’s a bit bigger than your average corner shop. We have aisles and plastic baskets for people to use while they look around at the different items. It takes a lot of work to keep the shelves filled because things go fast during the holidays. We spend our mornings checking the dates on packets and dragging heavy crates from the small back room. The lighting inside is bright, which helps because the shop can get a bit dark toward the back corners. We have a lot of regular customers from the society who come in every couple of days for their groceries. They usually tell us about their families or complain about the heavy traffic on the highway outside. We just listen and keep ringing things up at the counter. It gets really busy on weekends when people have more time to shop for the whole week. We don't do anything special, just keep the doors open and try to stay on top of the inventory.
