Sachin General Store

You can find us at Ravikiran Colony in the Indira Nagar part of Nashik. We are at Shop No 1, which is very close to the Das Maruti Temple. Having the temple nearby means we get a lot of people passing by on their way to pray, especially on Saturdays. The shop is a general store, so we carry the basic things like soap, shampoo, snacks, and some stationery. It’s a pretty quiet colony for the most part, except for when the school buses come through or during temple festivals. I usually open up early to catch the people heading out for their morning walks. The interior is simple, with wooden shelves that have been there for years. I try to keep things organized, but sometimes the stock piles up in the corners when we get a large shipment of bottled water or snacks. I don't really go for fancy marketing or anything like that; people know we are here if they run out of something at home. It’s a small space, so you can see everything we have as soon as you walk in. I spend a lot of time just chatting with the regulars about the weather or local news. It’s a steady kind of life, and the view of the temple from the front door is quite nice. We’ve been serving the folks here in Ravikiran Colony for quite some time now, and it feels like a second home.
