S Manish Kumar

S Manish Kumar is the name on the sign and you can find me at Shop No 49 in Ratan Sagar. We are situated near Lakkad Pitha Road. It is a busy little corner of the city and there is always something going on outside the shop window. I have been running this place for several years now. It is a small space, but I make sure every inch of it is used for something useful. Most people around here know me just as Manish. I sell various things that people need for their homes or small projects they are working on. The shop is usually open six days a week from morning until late evening. It gets a bit crowded inside when more than two or three people are here at once, but we manage. I have a small stool behind the counter where I sit when things are quiet, though that doesn't happen very often. The walls are lined with shelves that I put up myself. I try to keep everything organized but sometimes things get a bit messy when a big shipment arrives. I don't have any big staff, maybe just a boy to help with deliveries sometimes. People like coming here because they know I will give them a fair price and a bit of a conversation. It is just a regular local shop trying to make a living in a big city.
