Diakem Engineering Work

Diakem Engineering Work is based right at Plot No.28 in MIDC, specifically Unit No. C-18. It is a busy place around here. Most of the time, we are just focused on the engineering jobs that come through the door. It is not a huge operation, just a handful of us making sure things get done right. The workshop gets pretty loud with all the machinery running throughout the day. We have been in this unit for a good bit now. Most days start early with a quick check on the machines and then we just get into the work. We deal with various metal parts and mechanical components. It is mostly practical stuff. The office is just a small corner because we prefer being out where the actual work happens. The MIDC area is always buzzing, and we are right in the middle of it. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded with materials waiting to be moved, but we manage. We don’t really do fancy meetings or anything like that. People just drop by or call if they need something fabricated or repaired. It is simple, honest work that keeps us on our toes. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by noon. We clean up and start again the next day. It is just how it goes here. We have grown to know the rhythm of the place. It’s what we know how to do. The ceiling leaks a bit when it rains hard, but we just put a bucket under it and keep going.
