S L G M Poultry

Down here at Plot No 900 in Ward No 5, we run the S L G M Poultry business. We are quite close to the Durga Mandir and the Surgana Post Office, so it is easy for people to find us. Working with poultry means our day starts well before the sun comes up. It is a lot of hard work and the animals need constant attention. We don't have a fancy office or any polished marketing. Our world is mostly dirt, feathers, and the sounds of the birds. It can be a bit messy and the smell is something you have to get used to, but it’s honest work. The post office is a good landmark for people who haven't been out this way before. We have a few simple sheds and a small area where we keep our records. The temple nearby is a nice place to sit for a minute when things get too hectic. We aren't interested in sounding like a big corporation. We are just a local poultry farm trying to do things the right way. We have had good years and bad years, depending on the weather and the market. But we just keep going. It is a way of life more than just a job. The people in the village know us, and we know them. That’s how it works here. We just provide what we can and hope for a fair price. It is just life on the farm for us every single day.
