Rath Kirana Store

You can find Rath Kirana Store at Shop No 13 in the Rathchakra Soci. We are on Wadala Pathardi Road, over in Indira Nagar in Nashik - 422009. The shop is right near Rathchakra, which is how we got the name. It’s a residential area, so I see the same faces every single day. I know who likes which brand of flour and who comes in for milk every morning at 7 AM. The shop is quite small, but I try to keep it organized. I spend my afternoons checking the stock of grains and pulses. In Nashik, people are picky about their spices, so I make sure those are fresh. There’s a bit of shade in front of the shop in the mornings, which is nice for when the milk crates arrive. I don't have any help, just me most of the time. When the kids come home from school, they stop by for candy or small chips. It’s a quiet life here compared to the main city markets. I like being in the society because it feels safe and everyone knows everyone. I’ve been at this spot for a good while now. The shelves are wooden and a bit old, but they hold everything just fine. I just keep the door open and wait for the neighbors to come by for their daily groceries. I usually close up once the streetlights come on and the last few regulars have gone home.
