Prashant Arts

Prashant Arts is located in Raviwar Peth, right in the Trimurti Building on Devdhar Lane. The building number is 377. If you know Raviwar Peth, you know it’s a maze of narrow lanes and old buildings, and we are right in the thick of it. It’s a very traditional market area, and we’ve been here for a long time. Our shop is small and filled with art supplies, frames, and various things we’ve worked on over the years. It smells like wood and paint most of the time. We don't have a big marketing budget or a website that looks professional. Most of our work comes from people walking past or the families who have lived in the Peth for generations. We take our time with each job because that’s how we were taught. Sometimes it’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of customers at once, but we manage. The stairs in the building are a bit steep, so you have to be careful coming up. We like being in this part of town because there is always something happening outside on the street. It’s a lively place to work. We aren't trying to be the biggest art shop in the city, just a reliable one for the local people who need our help with their projects. It’s a simple life and we enjoy it, even when the lane gets crowded.
