Pranav Dal Mill

Pranav Dal Mill is situated in Bhivdhanora Village, which is part of the Gangapur Tehsil. It’s a quiet place mostly, surrounded by fields and a few other small businesses. We use the Raghunath Nagar post office for our mail. The mill itself has been here for years, processing all kinds of dal that comes in from the local farms. It’s loud inside when the motors are running, and there is always a fine layer of grain dust on the floor. We don't have a lot of workers, just a few of us who know how to fix the machines when they act up. Sometimes a belt breaks or a screen gets clogged, and we have to stop everything to get it sorted. That’s just life in a mill. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most people just show up with their trucks or tractors and we weigh everything on the scale out front. The weather dictates a lot of our schedule because if it rains too hard, we can't move the grain around easily. We try to keep things organized but in a village setting, things tend to happen at their own pace. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for loads to finish. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do well here in the village. It keeps us busy and provides a service for the farmers nearby.
