Padma Kirana & General Store

We are at Shop No 4 on Jai Bhawani Road in Deolali Gaon. Our shop, Padma Kirana & General Store, is quite close to the Tulja Bhavani Mandir. It’s a nice part of Nashik to be in. We deal with all sorts of kitchen supplies and general items. Most mornings we spend a lot of time cleaning the dust off the jars because the road outside can get a bit dry. We stock everything from cooking oils to local snacks. The shop isn't very modern, it has that old-fashioned feel where everything is within reach. We don't have big signs or flashy lights. We just have a simple counter and shelves filled with what people actually use every day. Sometimes the cat from next door comes in to sit, and we have to shoo it out. It’s just part of the daily routine. We know the birthdays of some of the local kids because they come in for chocolates. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. We just make sure we have enough stock for the weekend rush. It’s a simple way to run a business. You talk to your neighbors, you sell them what they need, and you close up at night. There’s no big mission statement here. We are just here to help the people in Deolali Gaon get their shopping done easily. It works for us and the neighbors just the way it is.
