Om Hardware

Om Hardware is located in Village Gangapur, not too far from the Rajmata Jijamata Garden. If you're in the Tehsil Gangapur area, you’ve likely seen our shop. It’s a typical hardware store where things are stacked up wherever they can fit. We sell everything from nails and hammers to plumbing pipes and agricultural tools. Since we are in a village, a lot of our customers are looking for things to fix their tractors or build fences. It’s a dusty job, and my hands are usually covered in grease or rust by the end of the day. The shop opens early because farmers like to get their supplies before they head out to the fields. I usually sit on a wooden stool near the entrance so I can greet everyone who walks in. We have a small godown in the back for the bigger items like cement bags. It’s hard work, especially in the heat, but it’s good to be part of the community here. The garden nearby brings in some people on the weekends, but mostly it's just the locals. We don't use any fancy software to manage the store; everything is written down in big ledger books. It’s the way my father did it, and it still works fine for me. We just aim to have what people need when they are in the middle of a repair job. It’s a steady way to live.
