National Kirana And General Store is located on Wadala Road in Nashik. Specifically, we are at Shop No.02 in Takdir Apartment. The Wadala - Dgp Nagar Road is always moving, and we are right beside Manoj Garage. You can usually hear the sounds of tools clanking next door while we work. We’ve been operating this store for quite some time now. It’s a typical kirana shop where we sell grains, oils, and other kitchen staples. The floor gets a bit dusty because of the road, so we sweep it out many times a day. We don't have any fancy displays. Everything is just stacked on the wooden shelves where we can reach it easily. People from the nearby buildings stop by on their way home. We know who wants which brand of tea without them even asking. It feels good to be part of the Wadala community like this. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late and we have to reorganize the whole back area. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy. We don’t have a website or any big marketing. Just the sign above the door and the word of mouth from people who live nearby. If the garage is busy, we usually get a few more people stopping in for a cold drink or a snack. It’s just a normal shop life for us and we stay open until quite late most nights.
