National Industries

We are located at Plot No. M-29 in the MIDC area of Ambad. It’s a standard industrial plot, and there is nothing too special about the building itself. We do manufacturing work here. The machines run for most of the day, making a steady humming sound that you just get used to after a few days. We have a small team of workers who mostly live in the neighborhood. Most of us walk or take a bike to get here. We make small parts that other companies use for their own products. It is not the kind of stuff you would ever see in a shop window. We deal with metal and some plastic bits. Sometimes the raw material delivery is late, which messes up our whole schedule for the week, but we manage to catch up. The office is just a corner of the main shed partitioned off with some old plywood. It is where we keep the ledgers and the landline phone. We don't spend any money on decorating the place. We would rather spend it on keeping the equipment running right. Lunch is usually shared on the benches outside when the weather is not too hot. We talk about the local news or whatever is happening in the estate. We’ve been at this plot for a good while now. It's a solid place to spend the day. We don't make a big fuss about the work.
