Muskan Kirana & General Stores

Our store is located at House No 601/48 in Valdevi Nagar, which is part of Deolali Gaon. We are near the Veet Bhatti, so there is often a bit of red dust in the air from the brick kilns. Because of that, I have to wipe the counter and the jars almost every hour to keep things clean. The shop is just a single room packed with shelves from floor to ceiling. We sell things like shampoo sachets, cooking oil, and big bags of rice. Living in Nashik, the mornings can be quite chilly in the winter, so we usually have a hot cup of tea while we wait for the first customers. Most of the people who come here are workers from the nearby areas or families living in Valdevi Nagar. They don't want anything fancy, just their daily supplies at a fair price. I use an old metal scale for some things and a newer digital one for others. There isn't much space to move around inside, especially when we get a new shipment of crates. Sometimes the neighborhood kids come in with just a few coins for some candy. We have been here for a long time, and the shop is just part of our daily life. It is not a big supermarket, just a local corner store where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We just keep it going as long as we can.
