Our place is over at Plot No. 189 in Shivaji Nagar. If you are looking for us, we are right behind the Graphite area. It’s a fairly large plot because Mittal Logistics needs the space for all the movement that goes on. We’ve got trucks coming in and out at odd hours, so there’s rarely a quiet moment during the day. The ground is a bit uneven and it gets muddy when it rains, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We spend a lot of our time out in the yard or in the small office building we have on-site. Logistics is mostly about timing, and we spend our lives looking at the clock and the gates. It’s not a fancy corporate office with air conditioning in every room. We have a few desks, some sturdy chairs, and a lot of logbooks. The staff here are mostly local guys who have been with us since we moved to Shivaji Nagar. We know the drivers and the routes pretty well. It’s a lot of physical work and a lot of talking to people to make sure things arrive where they should. We don't use any big slogans. We just show up every morning, open the gates, and start moving whatever needs moving. It’s a straightforward business and we try to keep it that way. We just keep our heads down and handle the shipments as they come.
