Maruti Paints

Maruti Paints is a small shop located near Bali Mandir at Dhatrak Phata. We spend our days surrounded by paint tins of all sizes and colors. The shop gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, but we keep things moving. Most people from the neighborhood stop by when they’re fixing up their houses or need a small can for a gate. The shop isn't huge, but we try to keep enough stock so people don't have to go all the way into the main city. It’s mostly just us here, moving ladders around and mixing shades when someone asks for something specific. You can usually find one of us sitting out front when it’s quiet, just watching the traffic go toward the temple. It’s a simple setup. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, and everyone knows the landmark. The walls inside are covered in old paint splashes from years of work. Sometimes the smell of thinner is quite strong, but you get used to it. We don't have any fancy displays. Just shelves, some brushes, and buckets of white and blue. When the sun hits the shop in the afternoon, it gets pretty warm, so we keep the fan running full blast. If you’re passing by Dhatrak Phata, you’ll see us right there. We just take things one day at a time and help people pick the right shade. It’s basic, honest work and we enjoy being part of the community here.
