Marathe Classes

You can find us at Row House Number 8 in Shri Krishna Kunj. We are tucked away in Kathe Galli, which is a quiet part of the Dwarka area here in Nashik. Being in a row house means it doesn't feel like a cold office at all. It feels like a home, which is basically what it is. We have converted the main rooms into study areas where students sit together. Monika Society is right across from us, so a lot of our students just walk over from their houses nearby. The atmosphere is very relaxed. We don't wear uniforms and there isn't a rigid hierarchy. Sometimes the neighbor's dog barks during a lesson, but we just ignore it and carry on with the work. We have been in this spot for several years and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. There is a small garden patch out front that we try to keep tidy when we have the time. Inside, the walls are covered with charts and maps that have been there for ages. We do our own cleaning and manage the schedules ourselves. It is a small operation, really. Just a few of us working together to help the local kids with their schoolwork. We don't have big signs or flashy lights outside. People usually find us because their cousins or friends came here before. It is a very simple way of doing things, but it works for us.
