You can find us at 41 B on Subhash Road-Bhagur, right near the Jain Mandir in Nashik. It is a quiet spot most of the time, which is how we like it. The shop is a simple room filled with wooden racks and plastic bins for all the different grains and pulses. I start the morning by lighting a bit of incense and opening the heavy front doors. Bhagur is a nice place to live, and the people who come into the store are usually our neighbors from just down the street. We sell the usual things people need for their daily cooking, like salt, turmeric, and tea. I try to keep the place clean, but with the wind blowing in from the road, there is always a bit of dust to deal with. We don't use any fancy computers, just a simple notebook to keep track of what we owe and what is coming in.
