The Garg Enterprises

If you go to the Shanti Mangal Apartment in Indira Nagar, you’ll see us at Shop No. 10. The shop is just a small space on the ground floor. The Garg Enterprises has been here for a while now. We aren't a big store with hundreds of employees. Usually, it’s just one or two of us behind the counter. We sell various things that people in the apartments and the neighborhood might need. Our shelves are pretty packed, and sometimes it’s hard to find what you’re looking for right away, but we know where it all is. We spend a lot of time talking to the neighbors who stop by. Indira Nagar is a busy place, so there’s always someone walking past the window. We open early and stay open until the sun goes down. We don't have a fancy computer system for everything. We still use a notebook for some of our notes and orders. It’s more personal that way. We’ve seen the kids in the neighborhood grow up over the years. Some of them even come back to say hello. We don't do any big promotions or sales. We just try to keep the prices fair and the stock full. Sometimes a lightbulb goes out or the floor needs a good scrub, and we handle that ourselves. It’s a simple business, run by real people who live right here. We like the routine of it all and the fact that we can walk to work every morning.
