Machine House India Pvt. Ltd. is situated at W- 82- A in the MIDC Ambad area. If you know Nashik, you probably know Ambad. It is a big industrial hub. Our place is a typical MIDC unit. It has a heavy metal door and a lot of space inside for the machines. We call it Machine House because that is exactly what it is. We have different types of machinery and tools scattered around the floor. It is not the cleanest place in the world because of all the oil and metal shavings, but it is a real workshop. We have a small corner with a couple of desks where we handle the paperwork. Most of the guys here are better with a wrench than a pen anyway. The W- 82- A block is on a street with several other similar workshops. You can hear the sound of cutting and grinding from the neighbors all day long. We usually have tea together in the afternoon at a small stall down the road. It is a tight-knit community of workers in Ambad. We do not do a lot of advertising. People usually find us because they need something fixed or built. We just stay focused on the machines and try to do a good job. It is honest work and we like being part of this industrial zone. The rain can sometimes leak through the roof but we just put a bucket under it.
