Kiran & Chandan Co.

Our business is located in Malegoan, not too far from the Jahangir Masjid. You can always hear the call to prayer throughout the day. It is a very busy neighborhood with lots of small shops and people moving around. Kiran and I started this company because we wanted to work for ourselves. We found this spot near the masjid and it has worked out okay for us. The streets are narrow so it can be tricky for the big trucks to get in and out. We have to be careful not to block the neighbors. We aren't a big corporate firm with polished floors. Our office is just a corner of the warehouse with a couple of chairs. It’s often a bit messy with paperwork and samples. We spend a lot of time talking to customers who just walk in off the street. Malegoan is a place where reputation matters more than anything else. If you do a bad job, everyone knows by the next day. We try to be honest about what we can do and when we can do it. Sometimes we run out of stock and have to tell people to wait. They usually understand. We just take things one day at a time. It’s a lot of work but it feels good to see the business grow slowly. We are just local people serving our neighbors here.
