We are tucked away behind the Gandhi Petrol Pump in Panchavati. The shop is part of the Pavanputra Housing Society in Trimurti Nagar. Since we are in Shop Number 5, we mostly serve the families who live in this society and the nearby buildings. New Adgaon Naka is a developing area, so things are always changing around us. Inside the shop, it is mostly bags of grains, spices, and everyday household items. It can get a bit cramped when we get a fresh delivery of oil tins or sacks of sugar. My wife helps me manage the counter during the busy morning hours. We don't use any fancy software for our sales, just a simple calculator and a pen. Sometimes the rain makes the floor a bit muddy because of the construction nearby. We try to keep things clean, but it is a constant battle. People stop by on their way back from the petrol pump to pick up things they forgot. It is a quiet life for the most part. We don't do any big advertising or anything. People just know we are here. Working in Nashik like this feels good because the community is very tight. We just make sure the essential items are always there on the shelf when someone needs them in a hurry.
