Kalika Enterprises

Goreram Lane is one of those places you have to know to find. Kalika Enterprises is in Building No.783, a place called Rimzim. We are near Raviwar Karanjaa, which means the market vibes are always right outside our door. It’s an old building, and you can feel the history in the walls. Sometimes the pipes clatter when you turn on the tap, but that’s part of the charm, I suppose. We do general trading and enterprise work. It’s a lot of phone calls and ledger entries. We’ve got a small balcony that looks out over the lane, and sometimes we just stand there to watch the crowds during festival seasons. It’s a lot of movement and noise. Our office space is filled with samples and boxes of things we’re moving. We’ve tried to organize it many times, but it always ends up looking a bit messy again within a week. We don't have those minimalist offices you see on TV. This is a real place where work happens. We’ve been here long enough that the postman knows exactly where to leave our mail without even looking at the number. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the orders coming in. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s ours, and we’ve built it up bit by bit over the years through a lot of late evenings.
