Jugnu Fresh Fruit is based in Paradise Arcade on Wadala Road, right near the Nagji Hospital. Being near a hospital means the area is always buzzing with people and traffic, which keeps things interesting. We work out of Flat 16, and honestly, most of our time is spent dealing with crates and boxes. Dealing with fresh fruit means everything has to happen quickly. You can't let things sit around for too long or they go bad, so there is always a sense of urgency in what we do. We are up early getting deliveries and checking the ripeness of whatever is in season. It’s a messy job sometimes, and the floor usually has a few stray leaves or bits of packing material on it. We aren't a high-end boutique; we are just a practical fruit business trying to keep up with the daily demand in Nashik. Sometimes the supply from the farms is great, and other days it’s a struggle to find what we need. We just deal with those ups and downs as they come. Our team is small and we’ve all known each other for a long time. It’s not fancy work, but it’s what we know. We just focus on getting the fruit in and getting it back out to the customers as fast as we can.
