Jogeshwari Kirana And General Store

We are set up in Shop No.2 at Sai Vandan Residency. This part of Amruthdham is always busy these days. Being near Omkareshwar Mandir means there are always people walking around Kalika Nagar, especially during the morning prayers. We’ve been running this kirana and general store for a bit now. It is just a regular shop where you can pick up sugar, tea leaves, or some biscuits. The space isn’t very large, so we have to stack things pretty high on the shelves. Sometimes finding a specific brand of soap takes a second because of how we have to fit everything in the small space. We start early because people need their milk and eggs before they head off to work. Panchavati is a great area, and Sai Nagar has a lot of families living here. I usually handle the customers myself. If I’m busy weighing out some dal or rice, people just wait and chat for a bit about the local news. It’s that kind of place. We don’t have fancy lighting or anything like that. Just the basics to keep a household running. Sometimes the rain in Nashik makes it a bit messy outside near the entrance, but people still come in for their supplies. We try to keep the most common brands that everyone asks for. If someone needs something special, we try to get it the next time the supplier comes. It’s a simple life running a shop like this.
