If you find yourself on Taran Talav Road in the Nashik Road area, you might see us. We are at Shop No 2 in the A Wing of Ganga Yamuna Housing Society. It’s right in Gaikhe Colony. Jayant Kirana & General Stores has been our daily life for a long time. The shop is a mix of food items and general stuff you might need around the house, like light bulbs or notebooks. Being in a housing society means we see a lot of the same faces every single day. We know the kids who come in for chocolate after school and the parents who need milk in a hurry. It’s a busy little corner of Nashik. The shop is usually a bit cluttered because we try to fit as much as possible into the space we have. It’s not the kind of place with bright lights and fancy displays. It’s just shelves, counters, and a lot of products. We deal with the usual problems, like the heat in the summer or the fridge making a weird noise sometimes. We don't have any big plans; we just want to keep the shop running and make sure the people in Ganga Yamuna have a place to buy their salt and sugar. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until night. We just take things one day at a time here.
