Jay Shankar Festival Lawns

Our lawns are located on Shankarrao Thamaji Jejurkar Marg in Nashik. It is in the Panchavati area, right near Jejurkar Mala. It is basically a big open space with grass that we have to keep green all year. That takes a lot of watering and cutting, especially during the hotter months when the sun is very strong. We host all sorts of festivals and local functions here for the people in the city. It is not a fancy hotel or anything like that, just a nice open plot of land. People like it because it is simple and they can do what they want with the space. We spend a lot of our time making sure the ground is clean and the lights are working properly. It is a family-run kind of thing, so you will usually see one of us walking around checking the gates or talking to the gardeners. Panchavati is a traditional part of Nashik, so we get a lot of local families coming by to ask about available dates. The road outside can get a bit quiet in the evenings, which is nice. We do not have a big marketing team or a polished brochure to show people. We just show them the lawn and tell them what is possible. Sometimes the grass gets a bit brown if the rain is late, but we do our best. It is a lot of physical work keeping a place this size looking decent for guests.
