Jagdumba Kirana

Jagdumba Kirana is a local shop we run in Kalpataru Nagar. We are based in Shop No. 6 of the Tulajai Apartment building on Ashoka Marg. If you are near the Saibaba Mandir, we are just a short walk away. This part of Nashik is quite nice, and we enjoy being here. The store is where we keep all the kirana items like grains, oil, and spices. It is not a huge place, but we make the most of the space we have. I usually spend the morning unloading the new stock and making sure the jars are full. Sometimes the labels on the bags get a bit torn, but the contents are always fine. We see a lot of the same people every week, which is my favorite part of the job. I don't have a big staff, so I do a bit of everything, from the cleaning to the billing. The floor is made of old tiles that are a bit worn out from all the walking. It stays relatively cool inside because of the way the building is shaded. I don't bother with much technology; I just use a simple calculator for the totals. People in Tulajai Apartment often stop by just to say hello even if they don't buy anything. It’s a basic life, and that suits me just fine. We just try to stay stocked with what the families around Ashoka Marg need most days for their homes.
