Jadhav & Kale Architects

We run Jadhav & Kale Architects out of the Yojana Building on Hiralal Lane. It’s tucked away in Raviwar Peth, which is a fairly traditional part of Nashik. The office has a bit of an old-school feel to it, which we actually like. It’s not one of those modern buildings with all glass and steel. It’s a solid place where we can focus on our work. We spend our days sitting at our desks, sketching out ideas and looking over site plans. Hiralal Lane can get pretty crowded with people and scooters, especially during the middle of the day. We’ve gotten used to the sounds of the neighborhood over the years. We aren't interested in being the most famous architects in the city. We just want to do a good job for the people who hire us. Our office is filled with the usual stuff—rulers, pens, rolls of tracing paper, and a lot of empty tea cups. It’s not always the tidiest place, but we know where everything is. We don't use fancy scripts or try to sound more important than we are. If you come by, we’ll probably just sit down and talk through your ideas over a drink. We know Nashik well and like being part of the community here in Raviwar Peth. It’s a place with history and character. We try to bring a bit of that practical, no-nonsense attitude to everything we do in the office.
