Godawari General Store

Godawari General Store sits at Plot No 16 in the Zilla Parishad Colony. We are right in the Indira Nagar area of Nashik, not far from the Union Bank at Charbag Chowk. It’s a handy location for people living in the colony. We’ve been here for a while, selling the usual mix of things people need for their houses. It’s not a complicated business. We open up, tidy the shelves, and wait for the morning rush. Being near Charbag Chowk means there is usually some traffic nearby, but our street is a bit quieter. We handle everything ourselves, from talking to the delivery guys to sweeping up the floor at night. We don't have any big marketing plans. People find us because they live nearby or they’re heading to the bank. We stock basic groceries, some stationery, and other general bits and pieces. Some days the shop feels a bit small when we get a large shipment in. We just stack things where they fit. Nashik is a good city, and Indira Nagar is a nice place to have a shop. We know most of the families in Zilla Parishad Colony by now. It’s just a regular way to make a living, day in and day out. We try to keep the stock fresh, though sometimes things get a bit disorganized behind the counter. That is just how it goes here.
