G.M. Hydrolic Works

Our workshop is located on Tigraniya Road, right near the MSEB compound, so it’s pretty easy to find if you know the area. It gets a bit dusty around here with all the traffic passing by, but that’s just how it is on this side of town. G.M. Hydrolic Works isn't a big corporate setup. It’s mostly just us working on hydraulic systems and fixing up parts that people bring in. The floor is usually covered in a bit of oil, no matter how much we sweep it. We have a few heavy workbenches and the tools are mostly older ones that still work better than the new stuff. Most days are spent handling repairs and making sure the seals are tight. We don't have a lot of meetings; we just talk over the noise of the machines. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually grab a break. If you come by, you'll probably see us in our overalls, likely covered in some grease. It’s hard work, and the heat in the shed can get a bit much in the afternoons. We’ve got a small office space for the paperwork, but nobody spends much time in there unless they have to. We prefer being out where the tools are. It’s a practical place, and we’ve been operating this way for a long time. It suits us just fine.
