Amol Furniture is tucked away in Old Court Lane in Ganesh Peth, which is part of Sinnar. Our workshop is usually full of sawdust and the sound of saws cutting through wood. We’ve been working here for a long time, making things like cupboards, chairs, and tables for the people in town. It’s not a clean office environment; it’s a place where work actually happens. We have various types of wood stacked up against the walls, and the smell of varnish is quite strong most days. People usually come in with a rough idea of what they want, and we try to figure out how to build it for them. Sometimes the measurements are tricky, and we have to start over, but that’s just how carpentry goes. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Most of our finished pieces are just sitting there in the shop waiting to be picked up. Being in Ganesh Peth means we have a lot of neighbors who stop by just to chat while we work. It’s a busy little lane, and we are right in the middle of it. We take our time with the joints and the finish because we don't like rushing things. If you come by, you’ll likely see us covered in dust and holding a hammer or a chisel. It’s the only way we know how to do things properly. The shop is small but it serves its purpose well.
