Dosti Kirana

Dosti Kirana is right here in Keli Rumhanwadi, situated on KG Road. If you are coming from the Rajyamarg highway, we are just a short distance away near Akole. The shop is a typical village store where we keep all the daily stuff people need for their kitchens. We have large sacks of rice and lentils sitting on the floor, and the shelves are mostly filled with oils, soaps, and those small packets of spices. It gets a bit dusty because of the road right outside, but we try to sweep it out every morning when we open up. Usually, the neighbors stop by to pick up milk or bread and stay for a quick chat. It isn't a huge place, so things can get a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once. We know most of the people who come in by their first names since they live just down the road or in the nearby farms. The fan on the ceiling makes a bit of noise, but it helps when the sun is hitting the front of the shop in the afternoon. We don't have any fancy displays or neon lights. It is just a simple place where you can get your groceries and maybe a few sweets for the kids. It stays quite busy during the evenings when people are heading home from work. We just keep things moving and make sure the shelves stay stocked.
