Our location is out in the industrial area at D - 1 / 18 MIDC Ambad. It’s a typical industrial zone, so there are factories and warehouses all around us. At Detection Instruments (India) P. Ltd., we work with various types of sensors and detection tools. The building is a basic industrial unit—functional and sturdy, but nothing you’d call pretty. We have a lot of specialized equipment on our benches, and we spend our hours testing and checking things. It’s a lot of technical work that requires some concentration, so it stays relatively quiet inside most of the time. The roads around MIDC Ambad can be a bit rough with all the heavy trucks passing through, and it gets quite dusty in the dry season. We don't have a big marketing department or any polished brochures lying around. We just focus on the instruments we’re handling. Our office area is just a few desks tucked away in one part of the building. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the technical specs of what we’re working on. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s what we do. We’ve been in this spot for a good while, and we’ve seen the neighboring units change over the years. We just keep doing our thing, making sure the instruments are ready when they need to be. It is just a regular factory day for us.
