Chougule Architects

Our place is Chougule Architects, and you can find us at Plat N.- 155, Gopi Krishan Bangla. We are located in the Dishuja Colony, right across from the police station on Collage Road in Nashik. It is a well-known part of town, so people usually don’t have too much trouble finding us. The office is inside a bungalow, which gives it a different feel than a standard office building. It is a bit more personal. We have desks set up in different rooms, and there are always blueprints spread out on any flat surface we can find. Nashik has its own pace, and being on Collage Road means we are near the heart of things. We see students and locals walking by all the time. Sometimes we take our work outside to the porch when the weather is nice. It is a small team here, so we all know what everyone else is working on. There isn't much hierarchy; we just sit down and figure out the designs together. The house has its own quirks, like a door that sticks and a kitchen that always has a pot of tea going. We have been here for quite some time, and it feels like home more than an office. We focus on our drawings and making sure the measurements are right, without worrying about looking corporate. It is just a steady, local architectural practice in a comfortable spot. (252 words)
