Chand Fruit Company

Chand Fruit Company is based out at Bagwan Agri Farm on Takli Road. It’s a bit different from a shop in the city because we are more involved with the farming side of things. Our address is P.O. Box No. 57, but most people just know where the farm is. Working with fruit means our schedule depends a lot on the seasons. Some months are incredibly busy when everything is ripening at once, and other times it’s a bit slower. We spend a lot of time outdoors or in the packing sheds. It’s dirty work, often involves being in the sun for long hours. You have to check the fruit carefully, making sure it’s handled right so it doesn't get bruised. We don't have a fancy office. Most of our business is done right there on the farm or over the phone. There’s always something that needs fixing, whether it’s a crate or a piece of equipment. The smell of the fruit is everywhere, which is nice, but it’s still hard manual labor. We don't use any fancy words to describe what we do. We just grow and move fruit. It’s how it’s been for a while now. The farm is our life, and we just keep working the land and seeing what the trees give us each year. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. We just keep our heads down and do the daily work on Takli Road.
