Bharti Kirana Shop

Bharti Kirana Shop is at shop 8/9 in the Meri Shopping Centre on Dindori Road in Nashik. We are in the Meri Colony area, quite close to the Meri Police Station. Having two shop units gives us a bit more space than the usual small kirana stores, but we still manage to fill it up completely. We have big containers for different kinds of rice, wheat, and pulses. Nashik is a good place to live, and the people in Meri Colony are mostly regulars who have been coming here for a long time. I start my day by checking the jars and making sure the lids are on tight. The shop gets a good amount of light during the day from the front entrance. I have a small radio that plays local stations, which helps pass the time when it is quiet. The shelves are made of wood and they have been there since the shop opened. I try to keep the place clean, but with the road right there, some dust always finds its way in. It is a lot of physical work, lifting heavy bags and reaching for items on high shelves, but it keeps me busy. We don't have any promotional posters, just the items themselves on display. It is a straightforward shop where neighbors can get their groceries without any fuss or complication.
