Anushka General Store

We run Anushka General Store out here on the Nashik Aurangabad Highway. We are located in the Chandori area, right near the Chittegaon Phata Bus Stop. It is a busy spot because of all the people waiting for their rides and the heavy trucks passing by all day long. The shop has been here for a while now. We keep a bit of everything on the shelves because you never know what someone might need at the last minute. We have basic groceries, snacks, and some household items too. It gets quite dusty with all the highway traffic, so we spend a lot of time cleaning things up. My family helps me out with the daily work. We open the shutters early in the morning, usually around the time the first buses start arriving. Sometimes it is quiet, and other times we have five people all asking for things at once. We do not have any big signs or fancy lights, just a regular local shop for the neighborhood. Most of the people who come in are our neighbors from around Chandori, but we see plenty of travelers too. It is a simple business. We just try to make sure we do not run out of the things people ask for most. If you are heading towards Aurangabad and need a quick break or a cold drink, you can find us right by the bus stop.
