Alisha General Store

Alisha General Store is located at Renuka Sankalp on Rest Camp Road in Deolali. We are right opposite the Cantonment area, which brings in a lot of different people every day. Being in Nashik, the weather stays nice, but the shop gets dusty pretty fast because of the traffic outside. We sell all sorts of general items that families around here need for their kitchens and bathrooms. It’s a simple setup we have here. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. We just stack the soaps, detergents, and food packets where they fit. Sometimes we run out of a specific brand of biscuits, and we have to tell people to wait until the next truck comes from the city. Working here means seeing the same neighbors every morning and evening. It’s a quiet life mostly, except when the military folks or tourists come by for supplies. The shop has been around for some time, and we've gotten used to the rhythm of the street. It can get a bit loud with the vehicles passing by, but we don't mind it much anymore. We open early in the morning so people can get what they need before work. It is just a basic shop for basic needs, run by people who live right in the community. We don't try to be anything else. We hope to stay here for many more years, just doing our thing and seeing the neighborhood grow around us.
