Ajwa Dry Fruits & Chocolates

We are located at House No-228 in Talujagaon, which is part of the Ghatghar area. The best way to find us is to look for the Nurani Masjid, as we are right near there. Ajwa Dry Fruits & Chocolates is really just a family-run thing. We spend a lot of our time sorting through bags of almonds and walnuts, making sure everything looks okay. The chocolates are kept in a cooler because the weather here can get pretty warm and we don't want anything melting. You can hear the call to prayer from the mosque throughout the day, which kind of helps us keep track of time without looking at a clock. The shop isn't very big, so when a few customers come in at once, it feels quite crowded. We live nearby, so it’s just a short walk for us to get to work in the morning. Sometimes we sit outside on the bench when it’s quiet and talk to the neighbors walking past. It’s a slow-paced kind of life in Talujagaon. We don't do much advertising; people just know we are here. Most of our day is spent weighing things out into small plastic bags and tying them up with those little gold wires. It’s repetitive, but there is something nice about the smell of the dried fruit and the cocoa when you first open the door in the morning. It feels like home.
