Jay Bharmani Dry Fruits

Our shop, Jay Bharmani Dry Fruits, is located in the Umiya Shakti building on Kathe Lane in the Dwarka area of Nashik. It is a small space, but we keep it packed with all sorts of things like almonds, cashews, and different types of raisins. Most of our day is spent sitting here and weighing out bags or checking the stock to make sure everything is fresh. We are not a big supermarket chain; we are just a local shop where people from the neighborhood come to get what they need for their kitchens or for gifts during festival times. Nashik is a busy city, and this corner of Dwarka stays pretty active. We have been at this address for some time now and have gotten to know many of the people who live nearby. Some customers come in just to chat while they pick up a small bag of walnuts, and others come with long lists for weddings. We try to keep the shelves organized, but with so many boxes, it can get a bit tight inside. We do not do much in the way of advertising; we just rely on people seeing our sign and stopping in. It is quiet work for the most part, but we like it. Dealing with dry fruits means you learn a lot about the different qualities and where things are grown. It is a simple life of running a small business and being part of the local community.
