Ace Enterprises

Working out of MIDC Ambad is always an experience because the whole area is just one big workshop. Our unit, A/15/3/36, is right in the thick of it. Ace Enterprises is basically a place where we deal with a lot of metal and machine parts. There is a constant hum of engines and the sound of clanking metal from the neighboring units. Our floor is usually a bit greasy, no matter how much we try to sweep it. We spend most of our time on our feet, checking on the machines or packing up crates for shipping. It gets really hot in the summer under the tin roof, so we drink a lot of water and take breaks when we can. We are not a giant corporation with fancy offices. We just have a small desk in the corner with a dusty computer and a lot of paper files. The workers here have been with us for a long time, and we all just get on with the job. You can hear the tea seller shouting outside every morning, which is usually when we start our first shift. Getting supplies in and out of the industrial area can be a headache with the big trucks blocking the narrow roads. We just focus on finishing the orders we have on hand. It is honest work and we have been doing it this way for years. Ambad is a tough place to work, but it is where we belong. We just keep going.
