Aaradhya Kirana And General Store

If you know the bus stop on Takli Road, then you know where we are. We are right in Shop No.2 in the Dwarka area of Nashik. It’s a handy spot for people waiting for their bus to grab a packet of chips or a cold drink. We started this kirana store because there were many families around who didn't want to walk all the way to the main market for every little thing they needed for dinner. We have all the basic kitchen supplies like spices, rice, and cooking oil. It’s not a very big shop, so sometimes it feels a bit full when the new stock arrives on Tuesdays. We just pile the sacks in the corner and work around them until they are sold. I usually sit here all day, and my wife helps out during the lunch hour so I can go home and eat. The neighbors are nice, and we know who likes which brand of tea or which type of soap. Dwarka is a busy part of town, but our little corner on Takli Road feels a bit more like a community. We don’t do any big advertising or anything corporate. People just see the shop when they are out for a walk or coming home. It’s just a regular local business. We try to keep the shelves tidy, but with so many small items, it is always a work in progress. That is just how it goes with a general store.
