Aadesh Kirana And General Stores is situated in Shop No. 1 of the Sant Krupa Apartment in Swami Narayan Nagar. This is in the Panchavati area of Nashik, quite close to Apollo Hospital and the Lunge Mangal Karyalay. We have a lot of different things on our shelves, ranging from basic food items to small household goods like light bulbs or notebooks. The shop is tucked into the ground floor of the apartment building. Because we are near the hospital, we see a lot of people who are just passing through, but we also have our regulars from the neighborhood who come in every day for their milk and bread. The space is a bit tight when more than three people come in at once, but everyone manages to wait their turn. We have a simple wooden counter where we do all the billing. The shelves go all the way up to the ceiling, so we often have to use a plastic stool to reach the stuff at the top. It gets a bit bright in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building, so we pull the shade down a little bit. We keep the lentils in open containers so people can see what they are getting before we bag them up. It is an honest way to spend the day, just helping people get what they need for their homes.
