Jagadheesh Carpentry Works

You can find Jagadheesh Carpentry Works right in Indhramma Colony. We are quite close to the State Bank in the Sarvapuram part of Narsampet. The shop is usually covered in a thin layer of sawdust and the air always smells like cut pine or teak. It is a noisy place because there is almost always a saw running or someone hammering away at a new door frame. We have a lot of wood stacked up against the back walls, waiting to be turned into tables or cupboards. People from the colony often drop by just to see how their furniture is coming along or to ask for a quick fix on a broken chair. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when the sun is beating down on the tin roof. We do not have a big showroom or anything like that. If you want to see what we do, you just look at what is currently being built on the workbenches. Sometimes the local kids stop by to watch us work, and we have to tell them to stay back from the machines. It is hard work and our hands are always rough, but it is what we know how to do. Being near the bank makes it easy for people to find us. We just open the shutters in the morning and stay busy until the sun goes down in Sarvapuram.
