Sis Computer Center

Our center, Sis Computer Center, is tucked away in the Banjara Hills Colony. Specifically, we are in the Ginni Compound near Minashki Chouk in Hoshangabad. The pin code is 461001. It is a bit of a specific location, so people sometimes have to look around for the Ginni Compound sign. Once you find it, you’ll see we have a few rooms set up with computers and chairs. It’s a simple place for people to come and learn how to use a PC or work on their typing. We spend a lot of our time sitting at the desks, helping someone figure out a program or fixing a mouse that stopped working. The atmosphere is generally quiet, except for the sound of keys clicking and the hum of the machines. Minashki Chouk is a busy spot, so there is always noise from outside, but inside the compound, it’s a bit more relaxed. We aren't a big corporation or anything like that. It’s just a small local center where people from the colony and other parts of Hoshangabad come to get some computer time. We open up in the morning and stay until the last student finishes their practice session in the evening. There is usually a bit of dust because of the location, so we spend time wiping down the monitors and keyboards. It’s honest work and we just try to keep the equipment running so everyone can get their tasks done.
