We’ve been set up here at Unit No. 2 in the Santhmaluru Industrial Area for a while now. It’s a busy spot in Kameypalli where there’s always something going on with the machines or trucks coming in. If you’ve ever walked through an industrial area, you know how it is, plenty of noise and a bit of dust, but that’s just part of working with stone. We handle all sorts of granite pieces here. Sometimes the slabs are heavy and take a lot of effort to move around the yard, but we get it done. My guys and I spend most of our mornings checking the stock and seeing what needs to be cut. It isn’t fancy work, just honest labor. People come by looking for something specific for their floors or counters, and we show them what’s sitting in the back. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit slow, especially when it rains hard in Kameypalli, but we stay busy. We don’t have a big front office or anything like that. Just a simple setup where we keep the slabs organized as much as possible. It’s been our life for years, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the saws. You learn a lot about different types of rock when you see them every single day. We try to keep things straightforward and don't make promises we can't keep. It’s just us doing our job here.
